A virtual event is an event that you can attend from the comfort, safety and convenience of your own home, office or anywhere else you can think of, through your mobile device or computer.
You can register your attendance to the Virtual World Confectionery Conference via our website link here.
The Virtual World Confectionery Conference will go live on 1st June 2021, and content will be available for all registered delegates for one month after the event.
Once you have completed your registration, you will receive confirmation from our team. Further details regarding how to attend the conference via your computer or mobile device will be sent once payment has been received by our accounts team, or for visitors, sent to you ahead of the event date (1st June 2021), following your confirmation.
You can access the Virtual World Confectionery Conference via the website: www.confectioneryconference.vfairs.com. Logging in with username and password provided to you following your registration.
For every paid registration to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual event.
No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have access to the internet.
A webcam is not required, but encouraged. Some attendees may have the ability to request a video chat, but a webcam is not required in order to participate.

TABLETOPS (included in Exhibitor & Combination packages)
If you have booked a package including a virtual tabletop exhibition stand, you will be provided with information on how to log onto the platform ahead of the live date and upload your branding and personalized content. This can include: video, photo, presentations, logos, branding, direct http link to website, downloadable pdf documents.
TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS (included in Combination or Keynote package)
If you have booked a package also including and presentation, we will require you to provide a 20 minute, pre-recorded technical presentation. Speakers email their completed Powerpoint presentation ahead of the event to the Event Manager, and this will then be uploaded to the platform.
Recording your presentation is easy! We suggest working with your digital team regarding the creation of your Powerpoint presentation, with the following options:
  • Recorded narration over your PowerPoint presentation in PowerPoint itself
  • Using screen recorder to capture your slides and a voice over
  • Using a tool such as Google Hangouts or another video chat tool to record your slides as you present them.

You will need to provide:
  • The name, job title, photo and a short biography for you, as the speaker.
  • Your company logo
  • Your 20 minute pre-recorded technical presentation, as a HD ready (720p or 1080p) Mp4 or MOV file.

If you are making your presentation in powerpoint please can you ensure this is saved as ‘MPEG – 4’ (MP4) format to enable the powerpoint to play as a video. Further details of how to do this will be sent shortly if you are unsure.

: This virtual event will provide easily accessible event content, across the world in an eco-friendly way. It eliminates the time and cost constraints of travel, whilst providing a safe, engaging platform with the usual benefits of exhibiting, speaker presentations and networking.
Online registration is available through the ‘register here’ button on the event landing page or through the Confectionery Conference website, keynote speeches and technical presentations will take place in a virtual conference hall, with tabletops within the virtual exhibition hall. Networking chats and private communications are available throughout the live event day.

The event is also accessible to delegates for ONE MONTH after the live date with statistical feedback available for speakers and exhibitors.
What makes the virtual event experience so special is the engagement! Tabletop representatives can engage with visitors via text/audio/video chat in real time on the day. This interaction can happen during the live event day, via a group chat, open chat rooms, private chat rooms or through a 1:1 chat window for more direct private discussions. Following the live day, during the one month on-demand timeframe, this then reverts to direct, 1:1 email via the “leave a message” function which goes straight to the exhibitors email address.

On entry to the site on the live date (1 June 2021), you will be taken to the virtual lobby, where you can chose to view technical presentations from our speakers via the Auditorium. Browse tabletops, view and download exhibitor information via the Exhibit Hall. Initiate a group or 1:1 chat with attendees to network, ask our speakers and exhibitors questions, enquire about sales or discuss topics further. Don’t forget, the event is also available for one month on-demand, after the live date.
